Abdul Razak Mohamed Basik, the father of notorious drug trafficker Shiran Basik, has been arrested in connection with an investigation into the purchase of an apartment valued at more than Rs. 30 million.
He was arrested by the Colombo Central Crime Investigation Bureau as part of an investigation into the purchase of an apartment at a housing complex in Gampaha.
Further investigations are underway into the transaction and the circumstances surrounding the purchase. (Newswire)
