FCC Cluth India launches evaluation programme for motorcycle technicians in SL

Head of Marketing of Japan’s FCIN, which is the parent company of FCC Cluth India, Kochi Nonaka said that a series of programmes to develop the technical knowledge of Sri Lanka’s motorcycle repair technicians will commence soon.

This was stated at an evaluation programme of the Sri Lankan sales representative of FCC Clucth India held in Colombo recently.

The local dealers and retailers of motorcycle clutches produced by India’s FCC Clutch Institute based on Japanese technology were also evaluated. Three main sales representatives, two hundred scattered sales representatives islandwide participated at this event. KAG Associates Managing Director Gamini Jayathilake, Liberty Motor Enterprises Managing Director Mohammad Rizwan Lutufi and Rock-C Auto Managing Director T. Thawaraja received the evaluation awards.

Nonaka further said that people in Sri Lanka use motorcycles for their daily activities. Therefore, a motorcycle is an essential tool for household activities. Even though Sri Lanka is a country that has faced many crises in the last few years, observed that there has not been a decrease in the use of motorcycles.

“But it is commendable that the President of Sri Lanka and the government together with the people of Sri Lanka worked together to get rid of the difficult situation in a short period of time. A suitable environment is available for entrepreneurs to carry out business activities satisfactorily. Therefore, we hope to pay more attention in building the industry related to motorcycle repair, which has a great economic impact on the lives of the people of this country,” he added.

Nonaka further stated that over five million types of environment friendly and asbestos free motorcycle clutches are manufactured by FCC India Company and sold in Asia.

Liberty Motors Enterprise, KAG Associates and Rock C Auto are the sales representatives for FCC Cluth India in Sri Lanka.
