Finance Ministry Secretary Mahinda Siriwardena has been given a one year service extension from April 26 by President Ranil Wickremesinghe, who is also the Finance, Economic Stabilization and National Policy Minister.
Secretary Mahinda Siriwardena who was also the Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) retired from service on Friday (26) after completing a service period of 33 years and 25 days in the Central Bank. He joined the CBSL on April 1, 1991.
