SLTB Chairman Lalith de Alwis stated that in addition to the normal transportation services, more than 400 additional special buses will be deployed for the convenience of pilgrims coming to Anuradhapura during the Poson season.
In addition to the normal transport service, this special bus service has been operated for the devotees coming for the Poson Festival, which is centered around Anuradhapura Sacred City, Mihintale and Tanthirimalaya.
Accordingly, the Chairman also said that with the support of the Gampaha and Colombo SLTB depots, 400 additional buses will be deployed this year during the Poson season. He was speaking to the media after a discussion held at the Anuradhapura SLTB office.
