A Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) government will take on the responsibility of ending the suffering and pain of the people, SJB Presidential candidate Sajith Premadasa said.
Speaking at a public rally held in Nachchaduwa on Saturday (31) he further stressed, “As part of our plans to support farmers in the country, we will offer a 50 kg fertilizer bag for just Rs. 5,000 and waive off agricultural loans. We will implement fuel subsidies for farmers, fishermen, three-wheelers, school transport services, and shakthi mill owners through a QR code system,” he said.
He further stressed, “SJB is the only party that supported the Muslim people’s rights during the cremation and burial issue while all the other parties were hesitant to address it.”
“We are committed to ending the pain and suffering of the people of our country,”he added.
“The Samagi Jana Sandanaya (SJS) government will prohibit the practice of changing parties in the political system and instead we will further enhance the existing laws. We do not open doors to any MPs to the SJS, based on personal privileges. Everyone in the SJS is connected with us based on our policy of developing the nation.
“An SJS government will work to give every citizen the right to live in their own house through a National Housing Policy,” he said.
