A stampede-like situation unfolded outside the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA) in Mumbai yesterday, where the public gathered to pay their final respects to Ratan Tata, Indian industrialist and philanthropist who served as Chairman of Tata Group and Tata Sons. Ratan Tata passed away late Wednesday at the age of 86.
The visionary industrialist was cremated with full state honours and the state government had declared a day of mourning.
