Gold prices rise in Sri Lanka

Gold prices in Sri Lanka have climbed by around Rs. 4,000, according to market data.

According to Colombo Pettah gold traders today (15), the price of a 22‑carat gold sovereign rose to Rs. 369,900, compared to Rs. 366,200 recorded last Friday (11).

Meanwhile, the price of a 24‑carat gold sovereign, which stood at Rs. 398,000 on Saturday, has increased to Rs. 402,000 today, traders said. (Newswire)
