The Joint Committee of Government Executive Officers has decided to go on a symbolic strike for two days during the first week of April if the Government fails to provide a solution to the issue of salaries and allowances affecting government executives, before March 31.
This has been informed through an announcement signed by H.A.L. Udayasiri, President of the Executive Committee representing the professional associations of the Joint Committee of Government Executive Officers.
