Cabinet approval has been granted to increase the salary of a pre-school teacher by Rs 2500.
Accordingly, Cabinet Spokesman, Minister, Dr. Bandula Gunawardena said that 8,700 pre-school teachers will continue to receive 5,000 rupees each.
