The government has taken steps to resume and complete the stalled apartment complex on Colombage Mawatha, Kirulapone, through a fresh tender process.
The project, which consists of 615 housing units, had been halted during the 2022 economic crisis.
Officials say an additional Rs. 6 billion will be needed to finish the remaining construction and bring the project to completion.
Deputy Minister of Urban Development Eranga Gunasekara, along with other officials, visited the site Friday (02) to inspect the project and assess the progress of construction.
