Heineken Lanka appoints Munaweera as Director Corporate Affairs

Heineken Lanka has appointed Johann Munaweera as Director Corporate Affairs. He will also serve as a member of Heineken Lanka’s management team.

Commenting on the appointment, Maud Meijboom-van Wel, Managing Director of Heineken Lanka, said, “As Director Corporate Affairs, Johann will focus on Heineken’s ambition to raise the bar in sustainability by reducing our carbon and water footprint and driving corporate social responsibility by making inclusion and diversity a part of our DNA.”

Johann is a marketing and communications professional who has served in several senior management roles. His experience in leading teams, agencies and change transformations spans over two decades. He has garnered experience across FMCG markets both local and global. He is an Attorney-at-Law by profession.
