High Commissioner of Sri Lanka to the United Kingdom Rohitha Bogollagama met with Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State (Minister for Climate) Kerry McCarthy on 02 September 2024 at the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero of the United Kingdom.
During the meeting, the High Commissioner discussed matters related to sustainable energy goals and targets for carbon neutrality through future sustainable energy investments as well as the establishment of the International Climate Change University in Sri Lanka with the British Minister for Climate. High Commissioner Bogollagama thanked the United Kingdom government for investments in the Power and energy sector developments in Sri Lanka in the past.
