Attorney Hejaaz Hisbullah and the Principal of a Madrasa School in Puttalam Mohommed Shakil, who were arrested by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID), were further remanded till December 8 by Colombo Fort Magistrate Priyantha Liyanage yesterday.Hisbullah had been arrested under charges of aiding and abetting and having close links with a terrorist involved in the April 21 attacks in 2019.
The Magistrate further ordered the CID to submit a report regarding the progress of the investigation into the incident on that date.
