A hotel owner on Marine Drive in Dehiwala was shot by two unidentified assailants who arrived on a motorcycle, police said.
According to the Police Media Spokesperson, the shooting took place earlier today, after which the injured man was rushed to the Kalubowila Teaching Hospital, where he is currently receiving treatment in serious condition.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the attackers fled the scene immediately after the shooting. The motive for the attack has not yet been established. (Newswire)
