Unauthorised hotels and other structures operating along the coastal stretch from Bambalapitiya to Dehiwala have been ordered to be removed before Sept. 10, according to a report by Silumina newspaper.
The report said the Coast Conservation authorities have issued instructions for the unauthorised establishments to be removed within the stipulated period.
The directive is part of action against unauthorised constructions and businesses operating within the coastal zone.
Authorities are expected to take action against establishments that fail to comply with the order by the deadline. (Newswire)
