The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) yesterday recorded a statement from Janaka Perera, the supplier of substandard immunoglobulin to Sri Lanka.
Perera is among the suspects who were remanded in connection with the import of substandard immunoglobulin to Sri Lanka till January 10.
The CID officials had arrived at the prison yesterday evening and recorded a statement from Janaka Perera for more than two hours based on the order issued by the Maligakanda Magistrate’s Court.
