Inosha was placed first in 25 and 50 metres Back Stroke events in the school Inter House Swimming Meets in the years 2017 to 2020. In the year 2018 she was selected to the Age Group Novices category being placed fifth in the under thirteen 50 metres. Back Stroke event at the Sri Lanka Schools Novices Championship held at Sugathadasa Stadium, Colombo. In 2015 she was awarded a Basic Rescue Certificate by the Life Saving Association of Sri Lanka.
In the year 2011 she received a Proficiency Award in Level One and Two in Gymnastics organized by the Sri Lanka Schools Gymnastics Association and in 2012 received the same award at the Levels three and four in Gymnastics organized by the Sri lanka Schools Gymnastics Association while in the same year she was placed first in Gymnastics skills Contest organized by the Girls’ High School which was held at the Auditorium of the St.Anthony’s Girls School.
In Athletics in the year 2015 she secured the first place in Long Jump at the Under eleven Inter House Sports Meet and a member of the school Relay event in the same age category in the 200 metres. Medley Relay and in 2015 achieved the qualification standard at the Age group Relay Championship of the School with the other members Nimasha Dissanayake, Senuri Jayasinghe, Chamodya Bandulasena which was held at Sugathadasa Stadium. For Inosha’s best performances in these sports disciplines she received a Merit award and also a ‘Super merit’ award in the School Colours award ceremony.
The second twin, Nimasha started swimming in the same years as her sister and she also participated in the same sports disciplines and in 2015 she qualified for the Under ten 50 metres.
Breast stroke at the Novices Aquatic Championship in that age group Category and in 2016 she was placed second in 50metres and placed fourth in the 100 metres.Back Stroke event and achieved qualifying standards at the 43rd Sri lanka Schools Aquatic Sports Championship held at Sugathdasa Sports Complex. In 2017 she was placed second in the Under 14, 50metres.
Breast stroke event in the Provincial Sports Meet organized by the Dept. of Education held at Digana Sports Complex and in 2018 she competed at the Finals in the 50 metres. Breast Stroke event in the Under 13 age group at the 45th Sri Lanka Schools Aquatic Championship held at the Sugathadasa Sports Complex and she was awarded Super Merit Colors at the School Colours Awarding Ceremony and in 2020 she was awarded half Colours in the same Award Ceremony of the School.
She completed in the finals in the 50 metres. Breast stroke Under 16 age group event at the 45th Sri Lanka Schools Aquatic Swimming Championship held at Sugathadasa Stadium and she became Swimming Champion in the years 2019 and 2020 in the Under 16 age group at the School Inter House Swimming Meets. Nimasha is the Swimming Captain for the year 2021 and both Twins are bright students who got Eight ‘A’ in their relevant Subjects.
