In a ceremony held at the Presidential Secretariat last afternoon (20), MP Janaka Wakkumbura was sworn in as the State Minister for Provincial Councils, Local Government, and Environment in the presence of President Ranil Wickremesinghe.
This new appointment supplements MP Wakkumbura’s existing role as the State Minister of Provincial Councils and Local Government. Saman Ekanayake, the President’s Secretary, also attended the swearing-in ceremony.
