Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) General Secretary Tilvin Silva on Monday said that today his group has got the ability to challenge all the capitalist groups and ruling groups in the country and his party was ready to take power together with the public as a movement which will be taken as an example by the world in the future.
He was speaking at his party’s May Day rally in Colombo on Monday.“We should expand this movement to the extent that we can defeat the enemy groups and take power in our hands. We must defeat these groups and establish a people-centric government. There is no point in forming a populist government. We can form a government to recover the country that is embroiled in a crisis”
Silva said his Party was a disciplined entity unlike other political parties in the country and had a team that could spearhead Sri Lanka towards development in a short span of time.
