Katina Pinkama was held yesterday (26) at the historic Attanagalla Rajamaha Viharaya.
This Katina Pinkama was held under the patronage of the Chief Incumbent of the Rajamaha Vihara and the Houston Temple in USA, Ven. Pannila Sri Ananda Thera.
A delegation from Vietnam’s Kusala Mitta Buddhist Organization also contributed to the Katina Pinkama.
The Kusala Mitta Buddhist Organization from Vietnam had also contributed to the ‘Uttama Garbhini Mata Upahara Programme’ for this Katina Pinkama. Accordingly, 107 pregnant mothers were given bags of necessary items recently.
Director of the Houston Temple Ven. Kamburagalle Nanda Thera and Ven. Rambukkana Amita Nanda Thera, who resides in USA, also participated in the Pinkama.
