Former Minister Keheliya Rambukwella, who was arrested by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) over an alleged corruption offence, has been ordered to be released on bail in relation to one complaint by the Colombo Magistrate’s Court.
Colombo Chief Magistrate Asanga S. Bodaragama issued the order after considering submissions made by CIABOC and Rambukwella’s lawyers.
It is reported that submissions are currently being made before the court in relation to another case against Rambukwella. (Newswire)
