Kenyan PM and FM congratulates Lanka’s new FM Vijitha Herath; Emphasises strengthening bilateral ties

Dr. Musalia Mudavadi, Prime Cabinet Secretary and Cabinet Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign and Diaspora Affairs of Kenya, extended his heartfelt congratulations to Vijitha Herath the newly appointed Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, following his swearing-in.

In his congratulatory message, Dr. Mudavadi praised the longstanding and cordial relations between Kenya and Sri Lanka, which have steadily deepened since the establishment of diplomatic ties.

Dr. Mudavadi emphasised Kenya’s appreciation for the historic and friendly bond shared with Sri Lanka and reaffirmed Kenya’s commitment to further strengthen these ties for mutual benefit. He expressed his personal commitment, as well as that of the Kenyan government, to work closely with Minister Vijitha Herath to advance the interests of both countries.
