Kohuwala Junction flyover opens

The flyover at the Kohuwala Junction was vested with the people by Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena in the presence of Transport, Highways and Mass Media Minister Dr. Bandula Gunawardhana yesterday. The construction of the flyover which is 254 metres in length and 9.4 metres in width began in 2021 and the total cost of the project is Rs. 3,599 million.

Parliamentarians Premanath C. Dolawatte, Yadamini Gunawardena, former Health Minister Sunethra Ranasinghe, Transport and Highways Ministry Secretary Eng. Ranjith Rubasinghe, RDA Chairman Chaminda Athaluwage, RDA Director General Priyantha Suriyabandara were present.
