Korean Education Fair at BMICH on June 29, 30

The World Korea Group Sri Lanka will hold a Korean Education Fair on June 29 and 30 at the BMICH.

The Education Fair will provide the opportunity for both students and parents to have direct consultations with representatives of around ten leading Universities from South Korea.

The World Korea Group Sri Lanka Director (Training) Prabath Liyanage told journalists that plans are afoot to send the first chosen group to Korea in September.

Director of the institution Sarathchandra Maheepala said even Buddhist monks can apply for study programmes.

He said the institution duly registered with the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission and the SLBFE will coordinate with relevant Korean educational institutions when sending students for programmes.

Students with a minimum three passes in the A/L exam will be eligible to apply for University admission. Chosen students will have to follow a Korean language proficiency course in the first six months and then can choose a study programme of their choice.
