With the drop in LP Gas prices by Litro and Laugfs from yesterday (3), the All-Ceylon Restaurant Owners’ Association (ACROA) has decided to reduce the prices of several types of food sold in restaurants.
Accordingly, the prices of kothtu, rice and curry and fried rice have been reduced by Rs. 20, ACROA Chairman Harshana Rukshan said.
Meanwhile, the prices of short eats sold at restaurants have also been reduced by Rs. 10.
ACROA further said that although the prices of food items have been reduced, the prices of plain tea and milk tea have not been changed.
Meanwhile, the All-Ceylon Bakery Owners’ Association told the Daily News that the prices of bakery products have not been revised following the LP Gas price reduction announced yesterday.
