Kshenuka Senewiratne is tipped to be appointed as the High Commissioner of Sri Lanka to India.
She is currently working as the Presidential Senior Adviser (Foreign Affairs). The term of Milinda Moragoda Sri Lanka’s High Commissioner to India will end this September.
Senewiratne has been nominated by the President’s Office to be appointed as the High Commissioner to India and the process of accepting her appointment by the Government of India is currently underway.
Senewiratne previously worked as the Permanent Representative of Sri Lanka to the United Nations in New York and has worked as the Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the High Commissioner of Sri Lanka to UK and the Sri Lankan Ambassador to Thailand.
