Customs sleuths on duty yesterday took a stock of Kush weighing 18 kilograms into custody at Peliyagoda warehouse. Customs spokesmen Seevali Arukgoda said that this stock has been sent to an address in Colombo as a gift from Canada.
He said that these gift boxes were made of thin planks, and kush stock had been hidden inside their false bottoms. Arrangements have been made to hand this stock over to the Police Narcotics Bureau for further investigations.
