Lankan men’s team Asian Central Zone volleyball champs

Sri Lankan men’s Volleyball team recorded a thrilling victory over the host Bangladesh men’s Volleyball team defeating them by 28/26, 25/20, 25/20 (3/0) and crowned as champions in the 6th Asian Central Zone Bangabandu men’s Volleyball Challenge Cub – 2021 which was held on December 28 at the Shaheed Suhrawardy National indoor stadium Mirpur, Bangladesh.

Meanwhile the Sri Lankan women’s volleyball team which faced the Uzbekistan women’s volleyball team in their semi final match lost by 24/26, 18/25, 25/20, 25/19, 15/12 points. in the match for third place that Sri Lankan women’s volleyball team won the first three sets against Kyrgyzstan and emerged bronze medal winners in their Bangamata Women’s Volleyball Challenge Cup – 2021.

The tournament was participated by Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Maldives.
