Laugfs Gas has increased the price of a 12.5 kilogramme LP Gas cylinder to Rs. 4,199, a senior official of the company confirmed.
Also, a five kilogramme domestic gas cylinder has increased to Rs. 1,680. The new price of a 2.5 kilogramme gas cylinder is 672 rupees.The spokesman said that the increase was due to the increase in gas prices in the international market and the increase in shipping charges.
A spokesman for Litro Gas meanwhile said that the company was losing nearly 1,000 rupees on a 12.5 kg LP Gas cylinder.
