Attorney Swastika Arulalingam, stated that the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Ealam (LTTE) are a fascist organization which has not done
any good to the Tamil people. She expressed these views during a special conference held at Jaffna University organized by the Law Department of the Jaffna University on Tuesday (31).
Delivering keynote address in the event, Arulalingam pointed out that LTTE had never acted legally. Throughout this conference, Jaffna University students objected to her speech. However, the lawyer continued her speech.
After the lecture was over, a group of university students shouted at her in a threatening manner.
After the first break, the lawyer had to abandon another lecture she had scheduled and she left the Jaffna University premises.
