Sri Lanka’s Lisal Goonetilleke and Zaidh Zihar cruised into the second round by recording convincing victories on the opening day of the ITF Junior Circuit Boys’ Under-14 Tennis Tournament played at the Sri Lanka Tennis Association (SLTA) Courts in Green Path, Colombo yesterday.
Goonetilleke rallied around magnificently to beat Amav Bishoyi of India 6-4, 6-4 while Zihar went on to beat Swastik Sharma also from India 6-0, 6-2.

Ita Zusiki (Japan) beat Prakash Sarram (India) 6-2, 6-4.
