Litro Gas Lanka Ltd is now making profit and the company has contributed Rs. 1.5 billion to the Treasury as dividends, Litro Gas Chairman Muditha Peiris said.
Litro Gas Lanka, one of the two leading suppliers of Liquefied Petroleum (LP) gas in the country has been engaged in the LP gas sector for a few decades.According to the Chairman Litro Gas contributed Rs.1.5 billion to the treasury through its primary as dividends,Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation (SLIC) is the shareholder of Litro Gas Lanka Ltd.
“So far Litro Gas has made several significant price reductions from time to time. However the company intends to offer further benefits to the customers in the future in line with the world gas prices.
