India’s first international luxury cruise ship, the Cordelia Empress, which departed from Chennai Port, arrived at the Trincomalee Port yesterday.
Indian Union Minister of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Sarbananda Sonowala flagged off at Chennai Port on June 6.
The luxury ship MV Cordelia Empress which departed from Chennai arrived in Trincomalee yesterday. In Trincomalee, all arrangements were made by Eastern Province Governor Senthil Thondaman and under his leadership, the Chief Secretary, Secretary to the Governor, Commander Trincomalee Eastern Naval Command, Deputy Inspector General of Police and others officially welcomed the ship.
Special arrangements were also made for the passengers on the ocean liner to visit tourist spots in Trincomalee.
