The main suspect in the Huludagoda Road shooting in Mount Lavinia has been arrested by the Terrorism Investigation Division (TID).
Police said the 32-year-old suspect was arrested while hiding at a lodge in Wattala on August 18.
Three others — two men and a woman — were subsequently arrested in the Kompannavidiya area for allegedly aiding and abetting the crime. Police also seized a revolver, 12 live rounds of ammunition and six spent cartridges.
The shooting took place on August 15, when two gunmen who arrived on a motorcycle opened fire at a man and fled the scene.
Further investigations are being conducted by the TID. (Newswire)
