Madurankuliya Police said that a body of a young man who had died mysteriously in a forest area near Vimbusole lake and a motorcycle was found on yesterday (1) afternoon.
Police investigations have revealed that the deceased was a 24 -year-old youth who resides in Madurankuliya, Keerthisinghegama.
It is said that a person saw the body of this young man and the motorcycle in a forest near the Vimbusole lake and alerted the Police.
However, it is said that investigations have started whether this young man committed suicide or was killed by someone. Madurankuliya Police Officer in Charge Gamini Vikra Masinghe said that they will start the investigations after the Puttalam Magistrate’s investigations.
