Man murdered over personal grudge

A 37-year-old father of one was murdered in the Dodangoda Dolelanda area of Matara, on Monday, in what seems to be a crime committed by underworld figures over a personal grudge, police said.

Dodangoda Police said the victim Dimuth Chamika had gone out of his house at 2.00 am on Monday and when his wife came out sometime later, she found him lying on the ground murdered.

Dodangoda Police are conducting investigations to find the suspects.
