A group of police officers on night patrol in Kandy arrested a person who was carrying a door which had been removed from the Mahaiyawa Railway Station office.
The suspect during questioning had revealed that he had removed the door from the station.
The 47 year old suspect was remanded until April 4 after being presented in courts.
