Police say that a person who ran away from a mental hospital in Thelippalai has beaten and stabbed a nursing worker who was taking care of him at the hospital to death. The killing took place in Meesalai area on Tuesday.
Hospital nurse Naga Selvam (43), a resident of Anakotte, had been murdered in this manner.
The mentally disabled person has been arrested by the police in connection with this murder.Police said he is a 20-year-old resident of Meesalai.
