A boat manufacturing factory and eight houses have been damaged by heavy winds that blew through Kalutara Fullerton Grama Niladhari Division yesterday night, said Kalutara District Secretary Prasanna Janaka Kumara.
The District Secretary said that the boat manufacturing factory was the worst damaged due to the winds. “The damage to property is to be ascertained and thereafter necessary action will be taken,” he said.
