Member of Parliament Patali Champika Ranawaka was once again unanimously elected as the Chair of the Committee on Ways and Means.He was appointed when the Committee met for the first time yesterday (20) and his name was proposed and seconded by MPs Wasantha Yapabandara and Lasantha Alagiyawanna respectively.
The new Chair was elected given the unanimous decision of State Ministers Sisira Jayakody, Anuradha Jayaratne, MPs W.D.J.Seneviratne, Udayana Kirindigoda, Udayana Kirindigoda and Nalaka Bandara Kottegoda. Deputy Secretary General of Parliament and Chief of Staff Chaminda Kularatne was also present at this Committee meeting held.
