China has executed four members of the Bai family mafia, a notorious crime dynasty operating scam centres in Myanmar.
They were among 21 family members and associates convicted of fraud, homicide, and other crimes by a Guangdong court. Last November, five were sentenced to death, including patriarch Bai Suocheng, who later died of illness.
The executions follow last week’s execution of 11 members of the Ming family mafia, part of China’s broader crackdown on scams that have defrauded thousands of Chinese victims in Southeast Asia. (NewsWire)
