Officers of the Meegoda Police Station yesterday arrested a suspect who was in possession of five grams and 100 milligrams of heroin during a special investigation in the Meegoda Police area on Monday (17). The suspect has been identified as a 42-year-old resident of the Meegoda area and was scheduled to be produced before the Homagama Magistrate’s Court yesterday (18).
