The ’80 Group of Nalanda College, Colombo has organised a charity event to bestow merit on teachers who taught in the 80’s and passed away and pay tribute to all teachers. Eighty Group Chairman Prabhath Liyanage said an alms-giving for 25 hermitage monks will be held at the Borella Sri Kalyani Ashrama at 10 a.m. today.
