National tea sales average for the month of June 2022 recorded Rs. 1,245.22 (USD 3.49), showing a decline of Rs. 79.73 month on month when compared to Rs. 1,324.95 of May 2022.
In comparison to the June 2021 average of Rs. 586.51 (USD 2.98), the total average shows a significant increase of Rs. 658.71 YOY, whilst gaining 0.51 in USD terms as well. It would be noteworthy that in USD terms, June 2022 average of USD 3.49 records a decrease of USD 0.22 when compared to May 2022 average of USD 3.71 according to Forbes & Walker Tea Brokers.
