Former Member of Parliament Navin Dissanayake has been appointed as a Vice Chairman of the United National Party (UNP), the party announced.
The appointment has been made in terms of Article 8.1.1(c) of the UNP Constitution for the year 2026, according to an official notification issued by the party.
The UNP’s Working Committee has recommended that Dissanayake be appointed as Vice President with effect from January 3, 2026. (Newswire)
