Senior Special Grade Officer of the Inland Revenue Department (IRD), U.D.N. Jayaweera has been appointed as the Acting Commissioner General of Excise with immediate effect.
Cabinet Spokesman Mass Media Minister Vijitha Herath said that the Cabinet of Ministers has granted its consent to this appointment.
