Rupavahini, the national channel, has introduced some new programmes to its line up to keep their viewers entertained.
“Situwara Puwatha” teledrama based on a novel by Rupa Sriyani Ekanayake will play on Rupavahini at 8:30 p.m. on weekdays from December 5.
The tele-drama directed by Chamil Pathirana features Roshan Ravindra, Udari Warnakulasooriya, Meena Kumari, Kumari Munasinghe and a host of others.
“Iragini Maddahana”, the latest tele-drama by Lalitha Rohitha Edirisinghe, is being telecast on weekends at 8:30 p.m. since December 1. The tele-drama stars Tharindi Fernando, Dhananjaya Siriwardana, Chameera Liyanage, Awanthi Aponso and several others.
On weekdays at 7:30 p.m., enthusiastic viewers could now gather in their living rooms to watch “Amuthu Dosthara” directed by Koralage Saman. This tele-drama features Koralage Saman, Kalani Dodantenna, Semini Iddamalgoda, Malcolm Machado and many other artistes. (TJ)
