Biyagama Tasma Group Chairman Nimal Subasinghe, on Wednesday (21), marked his 53rd birthday with a presentation of hospital equipment worth over Rs.1.6 million, which included an ECG machine and a machine that measures the sound of the womb, to the Emergency Unit of Biyagama Regional Hospital.
In addition, a Health Clinic for Non-infectious patients was also donated. An all-night Pirith chanting and almsgiving were also organised. Nimal Subasinghe handed over the equipment to the Chief Medical Officer of Biyagama Regional Hospital, Dr Subhashani Paduawala.
Tasma Group General Manager Namali Seneviratne, Accountant Nishantha Perera, and other Company officials participated in this event.
