Justice, Prison Affairs and Constitutional Reforms Minister Dr. Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe, PC yesterday said that amendments will be brought to the Notaries Ordinance within two months.
The Minister said that while writing the deeds of transfer the Notaries should carry out the work with a specific understanding as to whether a sale transaction has taken place.
“If not, they will have to face punishment,” he said. The Minister said so while speaking in Parliament yesterday (7) in Parliament.
