Issuing a statement the Election Commission says that to adhere to the guidelines for media coverage of the Presidential Election Results on September 21, 2024.
It also says that, only registered media outlets are permitted to broadcast or telecast live election results.
Unregistered media platforms, including online channels and social media, are prohibited from posting live results.
Media organisations are also ordered not to post any unofficial election results.
Legal action will be taken against those who violate these guidelines.
